Well another baseball season has come and gone and their are many eventful things that happened this year. There has been amazing plays, surprising teams, disappointing teams and of course controversy. However the one fact that remains the same. The jays missed the playoffs again.
Well as many people might have already figured out i am a very huge sports fan. my favorite teams are, of course, all from Toronto (unfortunately for me). This baseball season started off with a lot of optimism for the jays(where have i heard that before?) and of course they have once again fallen short of the playoffs. It seems that after every year someone who is working for jays front office seems to say that next year we will be in the playoffs. My response is usually something along the lines of alright maybe this year they will do something to improve the team in some way. This year however my response is more along the lines of...... hahahahahaha.
The Toronto blue jays seem to be run by a bunch of monkeys and not the smart ones you see using tools to get themselves food. J.P. Riccardi was supposed to be this saviour to get the jays back to the playoffs. My reaction to that now after several years of watching him is that my dog and I are more capable of being a general manager. The one thing about J.P. Riccardi is that he is never afraid to make a trade or sign a free agent, he is just afraid of signing or trading for a good player.
After watching the man work for years now i believe that the song title that i choose to be the title of my blog suits the jays season very well. As long as J.P. remains as general manager the seasons will just continue to roll underneath the bus and the jays will remain to be "under achievers."
